    #Space 🚀 Boeing is a hot mess but it makes sense that NASA & Boeing wouldn't want Starliner to come back, yet. The malfunctioning systems are in the service module, which is jettisoned and burns up in the atmosphere. Kinda hard to troubleshoot after that.

    Why Boeing’s Starliner still isn’t ready to return to Earth… At its root, [Ron] Epstein says these issues are caused by a move away from “hardcore engineering” within the company’s management. “You have management teams over a number of years that have focused more on shareholder return than the core engineering business of the company,” he says.
