    Painoko, or Senpai is an Otokonoko, is animated now and i hope it doesn't restart "otokonoko" discourse which is a Japanese word that literally means "male daughter" but covers any of the connotations of someone born as a boy but chooses to dress in a female typical fashion

    I was immediately apprehensive seeing an anime with the title "Senpai is an Otokonoko" but hey it's actually pretty cute! I'm surprised the English subtitled version kept the word "otokonoko" and didn't choose a word like "crossdresser" or the t-word I hate
