I didn't expect the NYT to go after Jamelle Bouie because he works at the NYT.

The problem isn’t that Jamelle Bouie works for The NY Times, the problem is that they don’t employ a hundred more like him. Shame on anyone who helped dogpile him off this site.

I think writing for the NYT falls pretty squarely under "ugly necessity under capitalism" for the current moment in journalism. Certainly the scapegoating of Jamelle Bouie for the paper's obscene fascist activities is a gross misdirection of anger.

Whole lot of people who are demanding that Jamelle Bouie quit the NYT seem to be under massive delusions about the ethics of their own employers.
