    Watched The Acolyte now that my friend got me back into his Disney account. It was decent enough. Pulp martial arts fiction in a good way I think, it just happens to have spaceships. Probably not going to be amazing but solid entertainment for someone like me who is into both martial arts and scifi.

    The first episode was weirdly stilted and awkward. But, after having watched episode 6, I think The Acolyte is actually good. One thing that it does particularly well is show a compelling seduction to the dark side, which has always seemed forced in other Star Wars projects.

    wild how the acolyte went from "OH MY GOD, WORST SW SHOW EVER" to "HOLY SHIT THIS IS AMAZING" in the span of 2 episodes. people don't understand pacing anymore, media literacy is through the damn floor. I'm a fan of binging series, but its clearly rotted a lot of peoples brains
